# Readability.php 4.0

A new major version of Readability.php, the PHP port of Mozilla's Readability.js, rewritten on the new HTML parser in PHP 8.4.

It is a fresh port of Readability.js 0.6.0. It parses HTML with the standard parser now built into PHP, and returns the article as a read-only object. Its tests run Mozilla's own 130 test pages.
