# Mollie API client 4.0 for PHP

A new major version of the Mollie API client for PHP, which lets PHP apps accept payments through Mollie.

It needs PHP 8.2 or later. API values are now string-backed enums, and resource fields can hold typed objects such as Money. Retries support jitter and the HTTP 429 Retry-After header.
