# Leaf 5

A new major version of Leaf, a PHP framework for makers, with a new compiled routing engine.

Routes can now have optional parameters and inline constraints, and an exact route always wins over a dynamic one. Leaf Crash replaces whoops for errors. Leaf 5 needs PHP 8.2 or later.
